Bradford Turner founded the firm in 2015 while completing his MBA at Warwick Business School and acting as Director of Impact Investments, Engineers Without Borders Canada.
He is the Managing Director at The Sector Inc, an expert in sustainable finance who has held executive leadership positions such as Executive Director, Toronto Workforce Innovation Group, Senior Manager, Impact Investing & Social Finance at Save the Children Canada and served as senior campaign counsel on the capital campaign to fund the construction of Humber River Hospital; as well as providing guidance and counsel to social enterprises, charities, iNGO’s, and governments, for 15 years.
With core thematic competencies in social finance, impact investing, ESG, institutional & private fundraising, social-service-delivery, public policy and corporate social & sustainability strategy; sectoral experience in government, international development, the charitable sector, health-care and social infrastructure; a certified strategy & finance professional, MaRS Impact Investor of the Year 2016,CFA-Level 1 Candidate, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University, an MBA from Warwick Business School (United Kingdom) Bradford has led teams to win & implement over $200 million in institutional & private funding and investment.
Beena Tharakan

Beena Tharakan is Principal Consultant at The Sector Inc and a senior business professional with over 15 years of experience providing management consulting services in the health care, social services, child welfare and broader public sectors across Canada and to international jurisdictions.
Beena’s areas of focus include conducting in-depth analytics on health care and human services operations, reviewing and revising business process design, analysing staffing models, re-designing organizational structures, managing projects and complex programs, conducting broad stakeholder consultations, supporting the development of strategic plans for health care and community sector organizations, researching leading global health care practices, evaluating the effectiveness of public program structures and delivery, gathering business requirements, and assessing organization readiness for systems implementation.
She successfully completed her MBA with a specialization in Health Services Management.
Beena’s 15 years of professional experience includes work with provincial ministries, regional health authorities, government, municipalities cancer care organizations, private care providers, community care and home care agencies, academic health centres, ambulatory centres, community hospitals, advocacy groups and social enterprises.
